Long View 02:15
We are all complicit in We are all compliant with We are all contributing We are all in line for the last show Miles worth of mourning Someone keeps a record For those who are still to Come into this place we failed to keep safe And I can take you under my And I can take you under my view Long view

Progress 03:00
She said, “stop the train please” I think I see someone I used to call on Mighty glad to see you learned a way to make a living Plenty people have to fight- day in, day out So we hope to see some progress Yeah, we hope to see some progress from each and every one Trading words of youth With the wave-maker, land-shaker Low and steady Low and steady So we hope to see some progress Yeah we hope to see some progress from each and every one
3.
And you’ve been going down And they’ve been holding out The red is all around, round But we can’t stop it now Talk to your babies, talk to your babies Let ‘em know that they gotta keep their hands up Talk to your babies, talk to your babies Let ‘em know that they gotta be nice and quiet And you’ve been feeling low And they’ve been slow to grow We lend our voices out But we can’t stop it now Talk to your babies, talk to your babies Let ‘em know that they gotta keep their hands up Talk to your babies, talk to your babies Let ‘em know that they gotta be nice and quiet

Midday she came into town to see about a man She’s got paper, she’s got lots of time logged away She said “I can do what you can do I can do what you can do” He said “honey that might be the truth, but it’s important that you do away with who you knew yourself to be- become brand new” “No, you can’t get a man with a gun”, Annie said Better to show him your softer side So to speak She said “I can do what you can do I can do what you can do” He said “honey that might be the truth, but it’s important that you do away with who you knew yourself to be- become brand new”

Run away, run away with me We’ve got enough, got enough between us To make it out of this town We will make it out of this town, and we’ll keep going And we will see the oceans And we will see the oceans And we will breathe the weight of this Come and stay, come and stay with me I’ll gather all of your favorite things and Make sure you’re warm I’ll let you know you’re home And we will see the oceans And we will see the oceans And we will breathe the weight of this

Do Something 02:17
You can you’ve got a lot of living left to do, do do Why don’t you do, do do something And you throw your weight around Forgetting those beneath your step Under these bright lights this all looks faded

Meteor Song 03:07
Walking out your door It’s 6 in the morning and it’s kind of chilly But you don’t want to wear your coat And we’re happy to see you Just to say hello and wish you well before you leave Warm covers and some gloves for borrowing On this cold night, when the light was falling Older than we can be bothered with Sleep long Talk heavy and breathe loud So I can find my way- back to your, back to your

We fought for your right to argue We sought after all of your principles Standing guard With our capable young bodies Capable young bodies Capable young bodies Capable Young We’re home And now you want to argue We made it home And now is the time you choose to argue All about what we can and can’t do With our capable young bodies Capable young bodies Capable young bodies Capable young Nobody’s marching down my street Nobody’s marching down my street Well, someone just marched on down my street And they won’t listen to me I say, “Somebody’s gotta come and make them Somebody’s gotta come and make them Hear reason, hear reason” Who can we ask? But the capable young bodies Capable young bodies Capable young bodies Capable young

There There 03:12
Met by chance Only seconds could have stopped what happened then Carried lots of heavy things Words forgotten all the time, but we still try to Say the ones that we knew meant a little bit More Laying close Holding all of the breath that we have to hold Learning patience among others Write this down I’ve got something to remember Down the road, when kind souls only know to say There there there, now
10.
Get up, get up, get up now I know that I said you could sleep in, sleep in, sleep in, sleep in while you can Pick up, pick up, pick up now The light was good until those clouds shifted into my view of this cozy scene I wanna keep some tabs I wanna keep some tabs on you Wanna keep some tabs So you don’t, so you don’t, so you don’t Slip right through my slippery fingers Slip right through my slippery fingers

Can’t you tell I missed you? I did Taken by your words and silence I intend to wake and feel the green Smaller motions mean much more to me And to be true, I’ll tell you This much light I did not think was possible And to be true, I’ll tell you Far away doesn’t feel so impossible And to be true, I’ll tell you That there’s plenty of time to hear one more song And to be true, I’ll tell you

about

This album features sparse but meaningful piano parts, looped vocal harmonies, and percussive rhythms (snaps, claps, shaker) behind melodic vocal lines. It also has some incredible cello and string parts.

about

Rachel Mousie Cincinnati, Ohio

I like to sing and write songs. I play the keys and use a looping station to create live harmonies and hand percussion rhythms. Sometimes when I'm practicing my cat sits on my lap and gives me feedback in the form of cat sounds. Once I find a way to incorporate that I'll have it all figured out.

I aim to make you feel something, whatever that may be. I hope I am successful :)
